It helps you fill out court forms with your own information — it does not give legal advice, does not choose forms for you, and cannot predict what a court will do. Will the court accept these forms?
JusticeOS fills four official California Judicial Council forms (DV-100, DV-109, DV-110, CLETS-001) with your reviewed answers. It does not include every local or situation-specific form. Check your court or Self-Help Center for what else your filing may require. Our Terms do not promise that a court will accept any document.
What happens right after I pay?
Payment is one-time, per case. The moment it clears, your packet unlocks: you review each form on screen, approve every field, then create the printable PDFs. Nothing is generated before your review.
What is the refund policy?
Before any document is generated: full refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. After documents are generated but before you complete your review: 50% within 14 days. After final documents are released, refunds are not available by default, but genuine defects are reviewed case-by-case. The full refund policy has the three stages, plainly.
What if I cannot afford $99?
A self-attested fee waiver unlocks the same packet at no cost — no proof required. If paying would make it harder to handle basic needs or safety, that path is yours. Court filing fees are a separate matter, and there is no filing fee for a domestic violence restraining order.
What happens to my data?
Your case data is stored behind row-level security so only your account can read it, and it is used for one purpose only: rendering the forms and guidance for your own case. It is never sold, and never used to train AI models — ours or anyone else's. The free tools process uploads transiently and do not save them. You may request deletion at any time; the privacy policy has the details.

Court filing fees are separate and paid to the court, not to JusticeOS. If you receive public benefits or your income qualifies, California's form FW-001 can waive court filing fees too — the packet flow explains where that form lives.
